Come with me on a multi-day hike in the Blackforest Nationalpark.

Jahre lang sind wir schon auf Mehrtagestouren im Schwarzwald unterwegs. Dieses Mal ging es in 2.5 Tagen auf die Murgleiter von Baiersbronn nach Langenbrand.
Mit knapp 35km und 1400 Höhenmeter am zweiten Tag war dies die längste Strecke die Ich an einem Tag gelaufen bin. Schreib mir ne DM für die genaue Strecke die wir gemacht haben.

We’ve been going on multi-day hikes in the Black Forest for years. This time, we spent 2.5 days hiking the Murgleiter trail from Baiersbronn to Langenbrand.
With nearly 35 km and 1,400 meters of elevation gain on the second day, this was the longest distance I’ve ever hiked in a single day.

This was a special one for me. As a big Lord of the Rings fan I had to visit Edoras (Mount Sunday) - and immidiatly felt Gondor was calling.

The view from the top of Edoras was just breathtaking and the only thing that was left fromhe shoot was some metal pole in the ground. During the shoot of the Lord of the Rings they built a whole village ontop.

The surrounding area of the Hakatere Conservation Park is just stunning.

It is on the itenary of every traveller that comes to New Zealand and so I also had to visit Milford Sound. Also combined this with a track to Lake Marian.

Despite its name, Milford Sound is not actually a sound but a fiord, a distinction based on its unique geological formation. While true sounds are formed by ocean flooding into river valleys, Milford Sound was carved by glaciers during the last Ice Age.

Otago is a diverse region on the southern half of New Zealand's South Island, known for its dramatic landscapes ranging from alpine mountains and glacial lakes to coastal plains and rugged hill country.

You need to stop every turn, because the landscape is just jaw dropping. Got blessed with a few nice sunsets and good fishing along the Eglinton and Mataura River.

I did the Greenstone and Caples Track on a perfect weather window. The loop of the track is about 64km and took me 4 days with only half days at beginning and end. And met so many lovely people on the track. Thanks @haha957167 for the lift back!

The superb diversity of natural features in this area is recognised internationally with the establishment of the Te Wāhipounamu-South West New Zealand World Heritage Area.

With 4.5 kg baseweight, I did go very light on this one - even with a @durstongear tent, sleeping mat and quilt.
